Connect Amazon without handing over the keys
Ascent is repricing software, not a magic black box. This page explains how Amazon connection, billing, data use, and security claims work in plain English.
Official Amazon connection
Amazon setup happens through the official seller authorisation flow. Ascent does not need your Seller Central password.
Stripe handles billing
Trial activation and billing are handled by Stripe, so payment details are managed by a dedicated payments provider rather than stored casually inside the app.
Data used for repricing
Ascent only asks for data needed to support repricing, onboarding, account support, billing, and product analytics.
Modern cloud infrastructure
Ascent is built on managed cloud infrastructure and follows practical controls around access, environment separation, and operational monitoring.
Amazon permissions
What Ascent needs access to
Repricing only works if the software can understand your offers and apply controlled price changes. The Amazon connection screen shows the live permissions before you authorise access.
Catalogue and listing context needed to identify SKUs and offers.
Pricing and offer data needed to calculate and apply repricing decisions.
Account and marketplace context needed for onboarding and support.
Billing and subscription status from Stripe so trial and paid access behave correctly.
Clearer security wording
We avoid vague claims like “bank-level security” unless there is a specific control behind the wording. The useful question is simpler: what data is needed, who handles payment, and how can access be revoked?
Read privacy policyClaims we do not make
Ascent does not ask for your Amazon Seller Central password.
Ascent does not claim Amazon endorsement or special treatment in Featured Offer eligibility.
Ascent does not claim its own SOC 2 certification unless that changes and is documented here.
Ascent does not guarantee Buy Box / Featured Offer wins; pricing is only one factor Amazon considers.
Still want to check something before connecting Amazon?
Good. Repricing affects revenue, so cautious questions are welcome.
